Wembanyama has been downgraded to questionable for Saturday night’s matchup due to right ankle soreness.
If he misses the game, it will be his 15th absence of the season—just two games shy of the maximum of 17 he can miss while remaining eligible for end-of-season awards.
The 22-year-old French phenom has appeared in 56 games this season, averaging 24.2 points, 11.1 rebounds, and 2.9 blocks per game.
The Spurs, meanwhile, are currently sitting second in the Western Conference with a 52–18 record.
