Brooks update, Suns staying small

Suns coach Jordan Ott provided an injury update on Dillon Brooks, who remains out with a fractured left hand.

“Looks like it’s still progressing,” Ott said. “What I’ve learned in the medical sense, is the bone, it does take a little bit more longer to see progress there, but everything seems to be moving in the right direction. He’s on the court. Continuing his progress day-to-day.”

The Suns announced Feb. 24 Brooks would be re-evaluated in 4-to-6 weeks.

It’ll be four weeks March 24 and six weeks April 7 when the Suns face Brooks’ former team, the Houston Rockets, in Kevin Durant’s return game.
