GRAY, Tenn. (WCYB) — Cody Connell, the head basketball coach at David Crockett High School, is set to take the reins at rival Daniel Boone High School. The announcement came from Daniel Boone Athletic Director Danny Good. Connell, a graduate of Daniel Boone, has spent the past six seasons leading the Pioneers, achieving more than 100 victories during his tenure at Crockett.
“We are excited to welcome Coach Connell not only back to Boone but also to our district as a Washington County Schools employee,” said Stephanie Gray, Principal of Daniel Boone High School. “His experience, work ethic, and commitment to student development will be a tremendous asset to our athletic program and school community.”
