Josh Hart has been integral to the New York Knicks’ success this season. The 30-year-old forward-guard has made 56 appearances for his team in 2025-26, including 42 starts. During that stretch, Hart has averaged 12.1 points on 50.6% shooting, 7.6 rebounds, 5.1 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.5 triples in 30.0 minutes per contest.
Hart, however, was out of action for the Knicks on Saturday as they defeated their cross-town rivals, the Brooklyn Nets, 93-92. Hart was forced to miss the game due to a right knee injury.
The 6-foot-5 swingman has been in and out of the lineup for the Knicks of late, missing three out of New York’s last four games due to soreness in his knee.

The Knicks are back in action on Sunday, matching up against the Washington Wizards. New York has won five in a row and is now seeking to make it six straight when they host the Wizards at Madison Square Garden on Sunday.
Hart headed into the game with a questionable tag. He is still nursing the knee injury, which cast doubt on his status against Washington.
The good news for the Knicks is that Hart is healthy enough to suit up on Sunday. Knicks head coach Mike Brown announced before tip-off that Hart has been cleared to play. He is expected to return to the starting lineup against the Wizards.
The Knicks enter Sunday’s contest with a 46-25 record. They are third in the Eastern Conference and are chasing the Boston Celtics for the No. 2 seed. As of writing, the Knicks are just 1.5 games behind the Celtics.
