The Magic suffered their fourth straight loss on Saturday, falling 105-104 to the Los Angeles Lakers in Central Florida. They were up by five points with 50 seconds remaining, but lost after Luke Kennard hit the go-ahead 3-pointer with 0.6 seconds left to play.
Paolo Banchero led the Magic with 16 points, six assists and five rebounds, Jalen Suggs tallied 14 points and six assists and Desmond Bane added 12 points and five assists. Bane recorded his 7,000th career regular-season point in the contest.
The Pacers lost 134-119 to the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday, extending their franchise-record losing streak to 16 games. The group never led in the contest and trailed by as many as 28 points in the fourth quarter after it was outscored 75-48 in the paint.
Andrew Nembhard produced 25 points and seven assists to lead the way, while Jarace Walker scored 21 points and Pascal Siakam added 14 points and five assists. The Pacers currently have the worst record in the NBA following their recent skid.

The Pacers and Magic are meeting for the third and final time this season. Orlando took the first two games and has won eight out of the last 11 overall.
