The Brooklyn Nets (17-54) are slowly coming to the end of their 2025-26 NBA season that has seen the team take plenty of losses due to the rebuilding nature of this campaign. Brooklyn is in the middle of its second-to-last road trip of the season and on Monday, they will be visiting the Portland Trail Blazers (35-37). The Nets come into this game following a 126-122 loss at the Sacramento Kings on Sunday in which Brooklyn lost at the end of a back-and-forth affair between two struggling teams. Rookie guard Ben Saraf led the way for the Nets to the tune of 22 points and five assists in his best game of the season while forward Ziaire Williams and guard Malachi Smith scored 18 points apiece.
The Trail Blazers enter this matchup after a 128-112 loss at the Denver Nuggets on Sunday in which Portland wasn’t able to keep up with Denver due to the numerous amount of injuries hindering their rotation. Forward Deni Avdija had 23 points and 14 assists to lead the Trail Blazers while center Donovan Clingan had 18 points and 13 rebounds in support.
