Toumani Camara scored a career-high 35 points on 10-of-12 shooting, Deni Avdija finished with 18 points and five rebounds, and Donovan Clingan added seven points, 15 rebounds, and seven blocked shots as the Portland Trail Blazers defeated the Brooklyn Nets 134-99 Monday night at Moda Center in Portland, Oregon.
Portland (36-37) led by just five after the first but opened the second on an 11-1 run take a 15-point lead. Camara hit his fifth three-pointer of the half to give Portland a 69-51 halftime lead.
The Trail Blazers took control of the game with a 10-2 run that pushed their lead to 26 with 1:10 to play in the third. Camara had 32 points at the end of the third on a perfect 8-of-8 shooting.
The Blazers opened the fourth on a 9-0 run to force a Nets timeout with 9:01 to play and Portland leading 106-73. Tiago Splitter cleared his bench and the Trail Blazers cruised to a blowout win.
With the win, Portland clinched a spot in the Western Conference play-in tournament.
