The Chicago Bulls are in a position where they are going to be looking towards the NBA Draft. With the team’s chances to make the play-in looking slim, the draft is something that seems to be the focus. Chicago holds three picks in this year’s draft, but who could be available? Let’s take a closer look at who they take in one outlet’s latest mock draft.
The Chicago Bulls land three key players in Bleacher Report’s mock draft

The Bulls are slated to have three picks in the 2026 NBA Draft. They hold their own first-round pick while also having the New Orleans Pelicans and Denver Nuggets second-round selections. After selecting AJ Dybantsa with the first pick in the previous mock draft, the ping-pong balls did not fall in their favor. Bleacher Report’s Jonathan Wasserman wrote a mock draft following the first weekend of March Madness. Instead, they hold the ninth pick. Chicago selects a familiar face in mock drafts as they take Arizona guard Brayden Burries. Below is what he said about this pick:
“Brayden Burries first two NCAA tournament performances felt on brand. He efficiently combined for 34 points on just 17 shots, scoring opportunistically within Arizona’s offense, aside from a deep, iso three-pointer that sunk Utah State late in Sunday’s game.
“He’s the type of guard who doesn’t need flashy self-creation off the dribble to get to the rim or hit jumpers. He has been super efficient in ball-screen situations getting downhill and pulling up in the mid-range. He’s had lots of success attacking closeouts and space in transition, using his frame well to shield defenders and create easy finishing angles.”
Chicago has a massive question mark regarding their backcourt, so this would be a great fit. Burries has been a tick off shooting 50% from the floor and 40% from three as a freshman, so he can be an elite scorer.
Chicago’s second-round picks land them centers
The two second-round picks can provide strong additions for the team. They have the 38th pick and take St. John’s forward Zuby Ejiofor. He has incredible energy and defensive activity while doing some of the things that don’t show on the box score. Chicago also lands the 53rd pick and go international with this selection. They draft Momo Faye, who is playing professionally in France. He is more of a traditional center, but can be a good two-way player or rotational center.
It will be intriguing to see how the front office wants to attack this draft. It’s difficult to expect anything but excitement for Chicago if this is how the draft plays out.
