MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – The Memphis Grizzlies released medical updates for players Ja Morant, Brandon Clarke and Zach Edey on Tuesday.
Both Morant and Clarke will miss the remainder of this season as they heal from injuries, but will return for 2026-27.
Morant continues to recover from a UCL sprain to his left elbow. Consultants recommended that he receive a PRP injection to help eliminate lingering discomfort, which will require rest before he returns to play.
Clarke continues to heal from a strain to his right calf, but recent X-rays showed that he needed more time to recover.
Edey underwent a procedure on Tuesday to address lingering discomfort in his left elbow.
The Grizzlies did not provide an ETA for Edey’s return, but did say that all three players are expected to make a full recovery by the next NBA season.
