The window to buy single-game tickets for potential play-in home games in Portland will open to the general public at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, offering fans a chance to attend the Blazers’ first postseason matchup since 2021. The window for season ticket holders, flex pack purchasers and those with licenses to suites opened today at 10 a.m.

The Blazers, who enter Monday in ninth place in the Western Conference standings, are a lock to compete in the play-in tournament, a four-day postseason event that determines the final two seeds of the NBA playoffs.

The tournament features the seventh-through-10th seeds in each conference and will take place from April 14-17 under the following format:

•The No. 7 seed will host the No. 8 seed, with the winner earning the seventh seed and the right to face the second seed in the first round of the playoffs.

• The No. 9 seed will host the No. 10 seed, with the winner advancing to play on the road against the loser of the seven-versus-eight matchup.

• The winner of the final play-in game would earn the No. 8 seed and face the No. 1 seed in the first round of the playoffs.

• The losers of the play-in tournament would be eliminated and land in the NBA lottery.

The NBA will unveil matchups, dates and times for the play-in tournament after the regular season, which ends on Sunday, April 12.

The Blazers are chasing their first playoff berth since 2021, when they lost to the Denver Nuggets in six games in the first round. Heading into Monday’s NBA slate, the Blazers (34-36) trail the eighth-place Los Angeles Clippers (34-35) by one-half game and lead the 10th-place Golden State Warriors (33-38) by 1 1/2 games.

Portland’s postseason push will benefit from the NBA’s easiest schedule over the final three weeks of the season. Eight of their remaining 10 opponents have losing records and seven of the 10 games will be played at Moda Center.

The No. 9 and No. 10 seeds could come down to a pair of head-to-head meetings between the Clippers and Blazers — Portland visits Los Angeles on March 31, then hosts Los Angeles on April 10.

When the purchase window opens, play-in tournament tickets will be available at Trailblazers.com/tickets or by calling 844-RIP-CITY.
