The Washington Wizards are on the road on Wednesday night as they travel to take on the Utah Jazz in an interconference matchup.

Washington enters Wednesday’s game with a 16-55 record after losing on the road to the New York Knicks on Sunday night, which extended their losing streak to 16 games.

In Sunday’s loss to the Knicks, Jaden Hardy led the way for the Wizards as he recorded 25 points and three rebounds off the bench while Anthony Gill added 18 points and five rebounds of his own off the bench.

Now Washington will try to end their losing streak on Wednesday as they face off against a struggling Jazz team on the road.

On the other side, Utah enters Wednesday’s contest with a 21-51 record after losing at home to the Toronto Raptors on Monday night.

Ace Bailey led the way for the Jazz in Monday’s loss as he ended the game with 37 points, six rebounds and three assists while Brice Sensabaugh recorded 24 points and five rebounds off the bench.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Wednesday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

Wizards Injury Report: Will Trae Young, Alex Sarr Play?

For the Wizards, they have nine players listed on their injury report, including both Trae Young and Alex Sarr.

Washington has ruled out Young due to low back pain and a right quad contusion as he will miss his fifth consecutive contest and there is still no timetable for his return.

The Wizards have also ruled out Sarr due to left big toe capsulitis as he will miss his second straight game.

Anthony Davis, Kyshawn George, Tre Johnson and Cam Whitmore have also been ruled out as they continue to recover from injuries while D’Angelo Russell remains away from the team.

Bilal Coulibaly has been listed as questionable due to right retrocalcaneal bursitis while Tristan Vukcevic is questionable with low back tightness.

On the other side, the Jazz have nine players listed on their injury report, including both Sensabaugh and Isaiah Collier.

Utah has ruled out Sensabaugh due to rest as he will miss his first game since returning from illness on Monday night.

The Jazz have also ruled out Collier due to a left hamstring injury while Keyonte George and Lauri Markkanen both remain sidelined while recovering from injuries.

Jaren Jackson Jr., Walker Kessler and Jusuf Nurkic have also been ruled out as they are set to miss the remainder of the season.

Kyle Filipwoski has been listed as doubtful due to an illness and he is expected to miss Wednesday’s game while Cody Williams is questionable with a shoulder injury.
