They started out hot, scoring 72 first half points and leading by a 25-point margin at the break.
The Hornets continued their domination in the third, scoring 41 points in what ended as a 44-point blowout victory.
Due to their lead, Charlotte was able to empty their bench, playing 13 different players, 12 of which ended up scoring.
Coby White led all scorers with 27 points off the bench, knocking down six three-pointers.
LaMelo Ball led all Hornets starters with 20 points, converting six three-pointers as well.
With those six threes, Ball moved to 931 in his career, passing Hornets legend Dell Curry (929) for second-most in franchise history.

Ball trails Kemba Walker by 352 three-pointers for the most in franchise history.
However, what’s most impressive about Ball’s shooting record is how few games it took him to reach the mark.
While it took Curry 701 games, Ball passed him in just 293 contests.
He’ll also have a chance to pass Walker in fewer contests as well, as the eight-year Hornet played in 605 games with the franchise.
With the victory, the Hornets moved into a tie for eighth place in the Eastern Conference standings with both Orlando and Miami.
If Charlotte are to finish in the top-eight, they’ll need to finish strong against difficult opponents like the Knicks and Celtics.
