Jaylen Brown and the Boston Celtics are coming off a big win on Wednesday, taking down the defending champions, the Oklahoma City Thunder, 119-109. Brown led the way for Boston, going off for a team-high 31 points on 9-of-17 shooting, eight rebounds, eight assists, two steals and one triple in 39 minutes of action.
The Celtics are back in action on Friday as they look to make it two wins in a row. They host the 41-32 Atlanta Hawks at TD Garden as Boston aims to improve on its 48-24 record.

The bad news for the Celtics is that Brown could be sidelined for Friday’s matchup against Atlanta. The five-time All-Star is currently dealing with a calf injury that might just force him to sit out against the Hawks.
The Celtics have submitted their injury report for Friday’s contest, and Brown has been added to the list. The former Finals MVP is questionable to play with left calf tightness.

Derrick White (knee) and Neemias Queta (thumb) are both also questionable to play against the Hawks. Nikola Vucevic (finger), on the other hand, remains out.
Brown’s injury does not sound serious, but the Celtics could opt to hold him out to give him a night off on Friday. If he is unable to go, more will be expected from Jayson Tatum and Payton Pritchard.
Tip-off from TD Garden on Friday night is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET.
