The Pistons had an easy time winning, but the Charlotte Hornets upset the New York Knicks 114 to 103 to end their seven-game winning streak, and the Orlando Magic narrowly defeated the Sacramento Kings 121 to 117 in a really high-scoring game. It was Jalen Duren’s night as his big double-double and strong presence inside locked Detroit’s position at the top of the standings by four and a half games.

New Orleans Pelicans vs Detroit Pistons
The Detroit Pistons kept their winning streak going and improved their record to 53- 20 by beating the New Orleans Pelicans. Jalen Duren was the leading scorer for Detroit, ending up with 30 points and 10 rebounds. Zion Williamson scored 21 points for the Pelicans; however, they were unable to prevent the Pistons from easily winning by 21 points.
