The Oklahoma City Thunder will host the Chicago Bulls on Friday. This will be the second matchup of the season between the two squads. Last time, OKC pulled away late in a short-handed win on Mar. 3.
The Thunder (57-16) couldn’t come up with big-time moments in a 119-109 loss to the Boston Celtics on Wednesday. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 33 points and eight assists. It snapped their 12-game win streak.
Meanwhile, the Bulls (29-43) continue to bottom out. They had a high-scoring 157-137 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday. Josh Giddey had 23 points, 12 assists and nine rebounds.
Knock on wood, but the Thunder remain super healthy. Nikola Topic (G League assignment) is out. Brooks Barnhizer (G League two-way) is out. Thomas Sorber (torn ACL) is out.
The opposite can be said about the Bulls. Jaden Ivey (patellofemoral pain syndrome) is out. Noa Essengue (shoulder surgery) is out. Jalen Smith (calf strain) is out. Zach Collins (toe sprain) is out. Anfernee Simons (ulnar styloid fracture) is doubtful. Guerschon Yabusele (ankle sprain) is questionable. Nick Richards (elbow sprain) is questionable. Rob Dillingham (bilateral patella tendon tendonitis) is probable. Isaac Okoro (patellofemoral pain syndrome) is probable. Mac McClung (G League two-way) is out. Yuki Kawamura (G League two-way) is out.
