It’s uncertain when the injury occurred, but Murray-Boyles won’t play in the second half. He had nine points, two rebounds and one block in 12 minutes off the bench.
Murray-Boyles isn’t a regular starter, but he’s an impactful player off Toronto’s bench. He’s averaging 7.9 points and 4.9 rebounds in 22.2 minutes per game. If he’s out for an extended period, it would certainly hurt Toronto.
Toronto holds a 40-32 record prior to the conclusion of Friday’s game vs. the Pelicans. The team sits fifth in the Eastern Conference as things currently stand.
