Raptors beat the Pelicans 119-106 as Barnes has 23 points and 12 assists

TIME. THE TIGERS ARE NINE AND A HALF POINT FAVORITE. NICE WEATHER CONDITIONS, BUT ALSO PRETTY WARM OUT THERE ACROSS SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA AND SOUTH MISSISSIPPI. BUT THERE IS A COOL DOWN COMING AS WE’RE WATCHING A PRETTY STRONG COLD FRONT, AT LEAST FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR. SET TO MOVE THROUGH LATE TONIGHT AND BRING US A MUCH COOLER AND DRIER WEATHER CONDITIONS. THERE’S A LIVE LOOK AT THE BIGGER PICTURE SHOWING YOU WHERE THAT COLD FRONT IS, AND IT’S JUST POSITIONED TO THE NORTH OF US, EXPECTED AGAIN TO MOVE ITS WAY THROUGH THE AREA LATER TONIGHT. OUT AHEAD OF IT THOUGH, WE’RE LOOKING AT PRETTY QUIET CONDITIONS, MIX OF CLOUDS AND SUNSHINE, BUT IT WAS A PRETTY WARM DAY, HIGH OF 82 DEGREES, WELL ABOVE THE AVERAGE OF 75. THE OLD RECORD TODAY WAS 87 SET BACK IN 2020. TEMPERATURES RIGHT NOW UPPER 70S TO LOW 80S BOGALUSA STILL REPORTING ONE OF THE WARMER SPOTS AT 87 DEGREES. MUCH COOLER THOUGH TOWARDS THE COAST INTO THE MID 70S THOUGH, AS WE GO INTO THE REST OF THE EVENING, JUST LOOKING AT MAINLY CLEAR SKIES, TEMPERATURES DROPPING INTO THE 70S FOR MANY SPOTS BY THIS EVENING, AND I THINK WE’LL BE INTO THE MID TO UPPER 60S JUST AFTER MIDNIGHT TONIGHT WITH JUST A FEW PASSING CLOUDS. LOWS TOMORROW INTO THE MID TO UPPER 50S ON THE NORTH SHORE. I THINK WE’LL WAKE UP TO TEMPERATURES INTO THE LOW TO MID 60S DOWN TOWARDS THE SOUTH SHORE THOUGH. AND TOMORROW WE’RE LOOKING PRETTY NICE OVERALL. BESIDES THE COOLER TEMPERATURES, A LOT OF SUNSHINE, TEMPERATURES INTO THE 70S DURING THE DAY, WHICH WILL PRETTY MUCH BE OUR AFTERNOON. HIGH TEMPERATURES INTO THE MID TO UPPER 70S FOR A LOT OF LOCATIONS. DURING THE AFTERNOON, WE COULD SAY THE SAME THING GOING INTO SUNDAY AS WELL, BUT THEN WE’RE RIGHT BACK INTO THOSE LOW TO MID 80S STARTING ON MONDAY, AND WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE MAJORITY COMING UP OF NEXT WEEK. LET’S TALK ABOUT THE DRY WEATHER CONDITIONS THOUGH. SO WE ALREADY HAVE THE DROUGHT THAT’S IN PLACE. A LOT OF LOCATIONS REPORTING ANYWHERE BETWEEN SEVERE TO EXTREME DROUGHT WEATHER CONDITIONS. SO WHEN YOU COMBINE THE DROUGHT AND WHEN YOU COMBINE THE BACKSIDE OF THE COLD FRONT, WHICH WILL BRING US SOME DRIER AND BREEZIER WEATHER CONDITIONS, THOSE ARE ALL PERFECT INGREDIENTS TO ALLOW FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS TO DEVELOP. AND RIGHT NOW WE HAVE THAT RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FOR THE NORTH SHORE, AS WELL AS SOUTH MISSISSIPPI AND THE PRIME TIME FOR THE FIRE. WEATHER CONDITIONS WILL BE BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 11 A.M. TO 7 P.M. SO DURING THIS TIME, NO OUTDOOR BURNING IS RECOMMENDED. ALL RIGHT. SO LET’S TALK ABOUT WHEN THAT FRONT MOVES THROUGH THERE. YOU SEE IT TONIGHT. AND THEN AGAIN COOLER AND DRIER CONDITIONS IN STORE. BUT BY SUNDAY WE START TO SEE SOME CHANGES WITH THE EAST TO SOUTHEAST WIND HELPING TO INCREASE THE MOISTURE, ALLOWING WARMER TEMPERATURES TO TAKE EFFECT, ESPECIALLY BY NEXT WEEK. AND IT LOOKS LIKE NEXT WEEK WE’LL STILL STAY UNDER THIS WARM, MOIST AIR PATTERN ALONG WITH DAYTIME HEATING, AND THAT SHOULD ALLOW FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS TO BEGIN TO DEVELOP A VERY SUMMERY TYPE OF PATTERN, THOUGH, GOING INTO NEXT WEEK. IN FACT, THURSDAY RAIN AND THUNDERSTORM CHANCES ONCE AGAIN IN THE FORECAST. WE GOT THE ITALIAN-AMERICAN SAINT JOSEPH’S PARADE HAPPENING IN THE QUARTER TOMORROW, AND THE FORECAST IS PICTURE PERFECT. LOTS OF CLEAR SKIES AND SUNSHINE. TEMPERATURES INTO THE UPPER 60S TO LOW 70S. AND THAT’S YOUR WDSU FIRST WARNING SEVEN DAY FORECAST. BREEZY CONDITIONS AGAIN, ALL GOING INTO THE DAY ON SUNDAY. AND IT LOOKS TO STAY
