Porzingis, whose contract expires at the end of the season, is reportedly “enamored” with the Warriors and is already considering a new deal.
“Though Porzingis, 30, is not publicly campaigning for a chance to re-sign with the Warriors, early impressions indicate he’s already considering it,” reports Monte Poole of NBC Sports Bay Area.
“He’s attracted to the opportunity to play alongside Curry, and he believes in the team’s medical and training staff, led by Dr. Rick Celebrini,” Poole adds.
Porzingis has appeared in 10 games with the Warriors so far, averaging 17.1 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks in around 23 minutes per game.
