The G League’s OKC Blue fell in a 132-117 loss to the Iowa Wolves on Saturday. The road defeat dropped their record to a definite 12-24 in the regular season. This also served as the finale.

For the last time this year, let’s get right to it. The Blue got behind from the jump. They were in a 34-24 deficit after the first quarter. The second frame was much of the same. OKC had 30 points, but couldn’t eat into the margin. They entered their final halftime with a 66-54 hole.

Even though the Blue cut it to single-digit points a handful of times, they didn’t make any serious progress out of the break. They had 35 points in the third quarter. But entered the final frame in a 100-89 deficit. The Wolves had no problem putting up points on the scoreboard.

Not much else happened in the final frame. Zyon Pullin crossed the 40-point mark. The Blue scored 28 points for their final dozen minutes of the regular season. They leave this two-game baseball series with Iowa winless to cap off the year.

The Blue shot 51% from the field and went 7-of-24 (29.2%) from 3. They shot 13-of-16 on free throws. They had 35 assists on 45 baskets. Five Blue players scored double-digit points.

Meanwhile, the Wolves shot 50% from the field and went 14-of-35 (40%) from 3. They shot 14-of-20 on free throws. They had 28 assists on 46 baskets. Five Wolves players scored double-digit points.
