Warriors guard Moses Moody, who suffered a ruptured left patellar tendon on March 23 at Dallas, underwent successful surgery to repair the tendon yesterday in Los Angeles, the team announced Saturday.
Moody will be sidelined for the remainder of the 2025-26 season and will begin rehabilitation immediately. He is expected to make a full recovery and an update on his progress will be provided during training camp next season.
Moody, 23, appeared in 60 games (49 starts) for the Warriors this season, averaging career-high figures in scoring (12.1), rebounds (3.3), assists (1.6) and steals (1.00). He hit a career-best 40.1% from 3-point range, becoming the 14th player in franchise history to make at least 150 threes in a single season (151).
Originally selected by Golden State with the 14th pick of the 2021 NBA Draft, Moody has appeared in 315 career games (106 starts) over five seasons with the Warriors, averaging 8.0 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 18.3 minutes per contest. Moody has seen action in 37 playoff games (two starts), averaging 5.3 points and 1.8 rebounds in 12.4 minutes per game.
