For all those Minnesota Timberwolves fans, the question of Anthony Edwards’ availability has now turned into a matter of when, not if.
Sitting handsomely at fifth seed in a contender-laden Western Conference, the Wolves are now looking at a stretch they could not risk losing even a single game.
However, as reports indicate, Minnesota may be getting its biggest boost at the right time, with Edwards trending toward a return on Monday against the Dallas Mavericks.
According to The Athletic’s Jon Krawczynski, all signs point to the franchise star being back in action after missing the past six games with right knee inflammation. He has already been cleared for on-court activities and is expected to go through final checks before the game.
