Moses Moody’s comeback no doubt will be greater than his setback.

Two days after undergoing surgery on the torn patellar tendon in his left knee, the Warriors guard on Sunday shared a message on X implying the challenge of his season-ending injury and looming rehab only will make him stronger.

Moody sustained the devastating injury during Golden State’s overtime win against the Dallas Mavericks last Monday at American Airlines Center in a terrifying moment that silenced the arena. The 23-year-old had to leave the court on a stretcher with 58 seconds left in the overtime period.

Moody’s thoughtful reflection on the situation should come as no surprise to Dub Nation, as he often delivers wise words in his postgame press conference that seem far beyond his years.

Getting back on the floor certainly won’t be easy, but the Warriors will be eagerly awaiting Moody’s return after a 2025-26 NBA season marred by injuries.
