Although it’s not football season yet, several Denver Broncos players, coaches and executives took in what was one of the busiest weeks of Colorado sports in the early months of 2026.

First, Broncos quarterback Bo Nix was joined by offensive linemen Frank Crum, Alex Palczewski and Nick Garguilo, along with wide receivers Marvin Mims and Pat Bryant, at Sunday night’s Denver Nuggets-Golden State Warriors game. The Nuggets are in the midst of a six-game winning streak while making a late playoff push. Denver won handily against the short-handed Warriors, 116-93.

Nix is no stranger to attending Nugget games, as he and teammates showed up for their neighbors (both the Nuggets and the Colorado Avalanche) several times in 2025.

Nix and Co. weren’t the only ones to take in the Nuggets last week, as head coach Sean Payton took in another win from the Nuggets on Wednesday.

The Broncos‘ mascot, Miles, also had his way with a Kansas City Chiefs fan, in honor of Nuggets’ mascot Rocky’s birthday, last week:

Mims was also a spectator at a historic moment for Colorado sports, as the NWSL’s Denver Summit had their inaugural game at Empower Field at Mile High on Saturday.

Mims was joined by Broncos president Damani Leach and minority owner and Denver Summit Alternate Governor Mellody Hobson at the home opener. The game set an NWSL record for attendance, with more than 63,000 fans. The Summit are owned by a group that includes Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning.

Colorado sports are some of the best in the nation right now (with the exception of the winless Colorado Rockies, although don’t say Nix doesn’t support them either!), and the Broncos are a big part of why the state is getting so much attention.
