Edwards (knee) is going to play after a six-game absence.

Anthony Edwards is all set to finally rejoin the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Minnesota Timberwolves / Schedule

Ahead of their Monday road clash in Dallas against the Mavericks, the Timberwolves announced that Edwards (knee) is available to play.

According to head coach Chris Finch, Edwards’ minutes against the Mavs will be monitored.

Edwards has missed the last six games for Minnesota due to a right knee issue. As such, after being initially made questionable in his status, all signs indicate that he will indeed return to the lineup this Monday.

By making an on-court comeback, Edwards will remain eligible to reach the NBA’s 65-game rule in individual awards. The superstar played in 58 games so far, averaging a career-best 29.5 points in nearly 50 percent shooting with 5.1 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.4 steals.

With less than two weeks left in the regular season, Edwards and the Timberwolves are aiming to land a strong finish. They are currently fifth in the West standings with a 45-29 record.
