TULSA, Okla. –

The Oklahoma City Thunder have announced their first preseason game of 2026.

The Thunder will face the New Orleans Pelicans at the BOK Center in downtown Tulsa on Tuesday, Oct. 6, at 7 p.m.

The game marks the Thunder’s 16th appearance in Tulsa and their first since 2024.

A scheduling conflict prevented the team from playing at the BOK Center in 2025. The only other seasons the Thunder did not play in Tulsa were 2011, during the NBA lockout, and 2020, due to COVID-19 protocols.

The last time the Thunder played in Tulsa, they defeated the New Zealand Breakers 117-89.
