Nikola Jokić has now earned Player of the Week honors 20 times in his career, the most in franchise history.

DENVER — Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokić has been named the Western Conference Player of the Week.

This is the third time this season Jokić has won the award. He’s earned Western Conference Player of the Week honors 20 times in his career, the most in Nuggets franchise history.

During the past week, Jokić averaged 26.0 points, 17.0 rebounds and 14.0 assists, while shooting 56.3% from the field and 43.8% from three, leading the Nuggets to a 4-0 record.

On the season, Jokić is averaging 27.9 points, a career-high 12.9 rebounds, a career-high 10.8 assists and 1.4 steals.

Jokić has a league-leading 31 triple-doubles and ranks second in the NBA with 51 double-doubles. His four games with at least 20 points, 15 rebounds, and 15 assists tie the second‑most such performances in a single season in league history, the NBA said.

Jokić is 15 triple-doubles away from surpassing Russell Westbrook for most in NBA history (195).
