LUBBOCK – Texas Tech senior Donovan Atwell is set to compete in the 2026 NABC-Reese’s Division I College All-Star Game at 2:30 p.m. on Friday at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis after a record-setting season playing for the Red Raiders. The NABC-Reese’s All-Star Game features top senior talent from across NCAA Division I and will be broadcast live on CBS Sports Network.

Atwell, a guard from Huntersville, North Carolina, made his final college season a memorable one at Texas Tech where he ranked second nationally with 130 made 3-pointers – an average of 3.82 per game. He also finished the season third nationally by shooting 45.8% on 3-pointers and made five or more 3s in 12 games. Atwell’s 130 makes from beyond the arc broke the previous program record of 94 by Cory Carr and he also was 81-for-169 (47.9%) against Big 12 opponents to set a new in-conference program record.

A starter in all 34 games for the Red Raiders who advanced to the NCAA Tournament Second Round, Atwell finished this season averaging 13.5 points per game and earned All-Big 12 Honorable Mention and All-Big 12 Newcomer Team honors. A transfer from UNC Greensboro, Atwell went 341-for-821 (41.5%) on 3-pointers and scored 1,348 points during his four-year collegiate career. He scored a season-high 26 points in a home win over Kansas State and made a season-best seven 3-pointers at Baylor after shooting 7-for-10 from beyond the arc in a game he scored 21 points in. Atwell had five games this season with 20-plus points, including going for 23 points at BYU in the regular-season finale when he made six 3s.

Along with being selected to the NABC-Reese’s All-Star Game, Atwell will also compete at 6 p.m. on Friday in the E*TRADE Men’s 3-Point Championship which is part of the 37th annual State Farm College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships at Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The broadcast of the 3-point Championship is delayed and will air on ESPN at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday.
