In late-2023, Mark Cuban sold his controlling stake in the Dallas Mavericks after over two decades running the team. 14 months later, the team traded Luka Doncic and its been all downhill ever since.
For Cuban, the team’s sharp decline has him seriously regretting selling the team to Miriam Adelson and her investment partners. Appearing on the Intersections Podcast, Cuban said that while he doesn’t regret the act of selling, he does regret his decision over who to sell the team to.
“I don’t regret selling,” Cuban said. “I regret who I sold to. Yeah, I made a lot of mistakes in the process and I’ll leave it at that.”
