That said, Kerr did reveal new updates.

Here’s what people were saying about the news:

Marc Grandi: “The most positive Steph Curry update the Warriors have gotten in a long time. Worth nothing that if the Warriors want to give Curry a runway of 5 regular season games to get ready for the play-in, then he’d have to return on Sunday vs. HOU. There’s a back-to-back in there, too.”

@JermaureeJ: “He coming back Sunday Vs rockets

@fayelilyyyyy: “just keep him out until the play in”

@TonyBiasotti: “It’s pretty cool to root for a guy who just wants to hoop. 95% of the league would just make this an extended vacation, since the team’s season is shot anyway.”

@Eazydoez1t: “And if he reinjures his knee/another part of his body then what? We’re locked in to the play in, 10th seed and would go against the Thunder undermanned. Cmon guys”
