Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jaylin Williams are finalists for 2025-26 NBA awards.

The NBA announced Tuesday that Gilgeous-Alexander is the Northwest Division nominee for the 2025-26 Sportsmanship Award, while Williams is a finalist for the 2025-26 Twyman-Stokes Teammate of the Year Award.

The recognition highlights two Oklahoma City Thunder players for their conduct on and off the court, as the team continues its strong season.

What we know

Other Sportsmanship Award nominees include Derrick White of the Boston Celtics, T.J. McConnell of the Indiana Pacers, Bam Adebayo of the Miami Heat, Al Horford of the Golden State Warriors and Harrison Barnes of the San Antonio Spurs.

Past winners include Jrue Holiday, Tyrese Maxey and Mike Conley. An Oklahoma City Thunder player has never won the award.

Williams is a finalist alongside Desmond Bane, Jalen Brunson, Pat Connaughton, De’Aaron Fox, Jeff Green, Jrue Holiday, DeAndre Jordan, Duncan Robinson, Marcus Smart, Jayson Tatum and Garrett Temple.

Previous winners of the Twyman-Stokes Teammate of the Year Award include Stephen Curry, Mike Conley and Jrue Holiday, who won in consecutive years. The award was established in the 2012-13 season, and no Thunder player has won it.
