Booker is now the third-youngest shooting guard in NBA history to reach 18,000 career points.
Despite the tough 115-111 loss on Tuesday against the Orlando Magic, Devin Booker still earned himself a highly important milestone worth celebrating.
Booker dropped 34 points in 8-of-16 shooting (16-of-19 free throws) across 36 minutes in the Suns’ losing effort. By doing so, he officially reached 18,000 career points.
He is now the third-youngest shooting guard to reach the scoring mark, per Real App. Only the two of Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant were younger.
Like the previous seasons, Booker maintained his case as one of the best stars in the NBA. He is averaging 25.8 points, 6.0 assists and 3.8 rebounds across 60 games played.
Booker and the Suns will look to bounce back on Thursday against the Charlotte Hornets.
