The 2026 Final Four is officially set and while we have no unfamiliar faces, not many bracketeers went 4 for 4 picking the semifinal.Â

Only 0.3358 percent of total men’s brackets had No. 1 Arizona, No. 1 Michigan, No. 2 UConn and No. 3 Illinois all in the Final Four. These four programs have eight national championships between them.
We could have seen some even smaller odds, however. Iowa was one game away from being the first nine seed to make the Final Four since Florida Atlantic did it in 2023. Only 0.74 percent of brackets picked the Hawkeyes to be in the final weekend. Likewise, only 1.9 percent of pickers had six seed Tennessee in their Final Four if it was able to get past Michigan.

Here’s the percentage of brackets that had each team in the Final Four. Illinois was the tenth-most popular team picked to make the semifinal with UConn being the eighth most popular, beating Duke who was the highest picked team at 61.2 percent. One seeds Michigan and Arizona were almost even as the second and third most chosen teams to make the Final Four.
