The Boston Celtics are set to play the Miami Heat on Wednesday night on the road. Boston has a number of injury updates to monitor heading into the matchup, however.
Ron Harper Jr. (right ankle sprain), Max Shulga (G League on assignment), John Tonje (G League two-way) and Amari Williams (G League on assignment) are all questionable for the game, per the NBA injury report. Nikola Vucevic is out due to a right ring finger fracture.

Boston expects to have its stars for the most part, but Harper’s status will be worth closely keeping an eye on. He has provided crucial depth this year. The 25-year-old is averaging just 10.5 minutes per contest, but he is averaging 3.6 points per game during that span.
Further updates will be provided on the Celtics’ questionable players ahead of tip-off on Wednesday night.

The Celtics are trying to climb the standings in the Eastern Conference standings. The Detroit Pistons still hold the best record in the East, but the Celtics are only four games back. Boston has gone 7-3 over the course of the past 10 games. Time is running out, but the Celtics are hoping to keep their chances of winning the East afloat.

As for the Heat, Miami is on track to earn another play-in tournament selection. The Heat are currently 40-36 and in ninth place in the Eastern Conference. They are simply hoping to get the best possible position they can before the regular season comes to an end.
Making a deep postseason run will be difficult for Miami. However, it would not be the first time the Heat made a deep run in the playoffs as a lower seed.

The Heat are looking to pull off the upset on Wednesday in front of their home fans. However, Boston is capable of getting the job done on the road as evidenced by their 24-14 record away from home. Miami happens to have the same exact record at home this season.
