Ivey became the NBA’s center of attention out of his brutal Bulls exit upon spitting anti-gay and religious claims.
Apparently, the writing was on the wall already for Jaden Ivey taking a disastrous exit to the Chicago Bulls and the NBA.

Even before he became viral online for spitting religious claims and his infamous homophobic rants that criticized the NBA, Ivey was already enigmatic during his time with the Detroit Pistons.
According to Joe Cowley of the Chicago Sun-Times, the embattled guard embraced a polarizing impression even to reporters.
“Before Jaden Ivey even stepped foot on Chicago soil, there were rumblings from Detroit that the shooting guard was a ‘preacher.’ They undersold it,” Cowley noted. “His interviews became sermons in which he was asking reporters if they’ve been ‘saved’ and if they ‘fornicated before marriage.'”
Ivey saw himself becoming the primary topic of discussion across basketball after being waived by the Bulls last Monday. This didn’t stop him from going for another disgruntled Instagram livestream, ripping Chicago for how he was identified as having a “conduct detrimental to the team.”
He also went on to criticize Stephen Curry, claiming that the Golden State Warriors superstar is a fake Christian.
Ivey was chosen by the Pistons with the fifth pick of the 2022 NBA Draft. After 4 ½ seasons, he was eventually dealt by the Eastern Conference-leading group to Chicago from the past trade deadline.
