The Oklahoma City Thunder held practice on Wednesday. They’re enjoying another two-day break before they host the Los Angeles Lakers in a national TV matchup on Thursday. At 60-16, OKC continues to have a small lead for the first seed.

Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault and Aaron Wiggins talked to the media after practice. Daigneault explained that OKC’s success is the reason why they’ve become the NBA’s top villain. Wiggins campaigned for Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to win the MVP award.

Elsewhere at the practice facility, Thomas Sorber experienced some innocuous rookie hazing. The Thunder filled up his ride with package peanuts. It’s something OKC has done in recent years to first-year players. The 20-year-old joins the list.
