Joel Embiid led the way for the 76ers in Monday’s loss as he ended the game with 26 points, seven rebounds and three assists while Tyrese Maxey recorded 23 points, seven rebounds and nine assists.

Now Philadelphia will try to bounce back on the road on Wednesday as they face off against a struggling Wizards team.

On the other side, Washington enters Wednesday’s game with a 17-58 record after losing on the road to the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday night.

In Monday’s loss to the Lakers, Will Riley led the way for the Wizards as he recorded 20 points, two rebounds and two assists while Justin Champagnie added 18 points, four rebounds and two assists of his own.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Wednesday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

76ers Injury Report: Will Joel Embiid Play?

For the 76ers, they have only one player listed on their injury report as they have ruled out Embiid.

Philadelphia has ruled out Embiid due to an illness as he will miss his first game since March 23.

With Embiid sidelined, Adem Bona and Andre Drummond could both be in line for increased roles.

Wizards Injury Report: Will Alex Sarr, Trae Young Play?

On the other side, the Wizards have eight players listed on their injury report, including both Alex Sarr and Trae Young.

Washington has listed Sarr as questionable due to left big toe capsulitis and he is in danger of missing his third consecutive contest.

The Wizards have also listed Bilal Coulibaly as questionable due to right retrocalcaneal bursitis while Tre Johnson is questionable with a right foot sprain.

Young has been ruled out due to low back pain and a right quad contusion as he will miss his ninth straight game while both Anthony Davis and Kyshawn George remain sidelined while recovering from injuries.

Cam Whitmore has also been ruled out as he is set to miss the remainder of the season due to a blood clot in his right shoulder while D’Angelo Russell remains away from the team.
