The Denver Nuggets faced the Utah Jazz in Salt Lake City on Wednesday, April 1.

A Denver winning streak continues with a 130-117 win for the Nuggets.

At the time of his exit, Hardaway had just 10 minutes of playing time logged. The veteran shot 1-2 from the field, scoring three points. He also had one rebound before going out.

Although the Nuggets left the door open for his potential return, Hardaway didn’t make it back out on the court.

Here’s what Nuggets head coach David Adelman had to say after the action.

“I don’t know anything yet,” Adelman said. “This has just been… It’s just every night it seems like. … Tim, same thing [it was just discomfort]. He didn’t feel right after some impact. So, he didn’t play in the second half. That’s just been what the season’s been. We just change the rotation, keep them moving. Luckily, guys played well tonight to finish the game.”

This season, Hardaway has appeared in 75 games for the Nuggets.

Coming off the bench for all but five games, the veteran has been shooting 45.0% from the field. While taking 7.0 threes per game, Hardaway has knocked down 41.0% of his long-range attempts.

In year 13, Hardaway is producing 13.8 points per game. He is also coming down with 2.6 rebounds per game and dishing out 1.4 assists per game.

Prior to his first season with the Nuggets, Hardaway started his career on the New York Knicks. He was a first-round pick out of Michigan (24th overall in 2013).

After spending four seasons with the Knicks, Hardaway ended up with the Atlanta Hawks. Then, he fired up a six-year run with the Dallas Mavericks.

Following a successful tenure in Dallas, which included averages of 15.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.9 assists, Hardaway was traded to the Detroit Pistons in the midst of the final year of his deal.

After his one season with the Pistons, Hardaway inked a deal to join the Nuggets. Denver is proving to be a strong contender in the Western Conference. Hardaway is an important piece for their bench unit.

The Nuggets are set to return to the court on Saturday, April 4, to face the San Antonio Spurs. Hardaway’s status for that game is unknown.
