In Monday’s victory over the Pistons, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the way for the Thunder as he recorded 47 points, five rebounds and three assists while Chet Holmgren added 13 points and nine rebounds of his own.

Now Oklahoma City will try to grab another victory on Thursday as they face off against the Lakers in a tough home matchup.

On the other side, Los Angeles enters Thursday’s contest with a 50-26 record after defeating the Cleveland Cavaliers at home on Tuesday night.

Luka Doncic led the way for the Lakers as he recorded 42 points, five rebounds and 12 assists while Austin Reaves recorded 19 points, six rebounds and four assists.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Thursday night’s matchup, both squads may be without some of their key players due to injuries.

For the Lakers, they have only one player listed on their injury report for Thursday’s game as they have ruled out Marcus Smart.

Los Angeles has ruled out Smart due to a right ankle contusion as he will miss his sixth consecutive contest.

With Smart still sidelined, Jake LaRavia, Rui Hachimura and Luke Kennard could all continue to have increased roles.

Oklahoma City has listed Caruso as questionable due to an illness and he is in danger of missing his first game since March 9.

If Caruso is sidelined, Aaron Wiggins, Cason Wallace and Isaiah Joe could all be in line for increased roles.

The Thunder have ruled out Thomas Sorber as he is set to miss the remainder of the season while recovering from a torn ACL.

The good news for the Thunder is that both Jalen Williams and Isaiah Hartenstein are off the injury report and will return on Thursday after missing Monday’s victory due to injury management.
