The NBA still has no clear timeline for announcing the conclusion of the ongoing investigation surrounding Kawhi Leonard and the Los Angeles Clippers.

“Wachtell’s investigation is ongoing,” an NBA spokesperson told Baxter Holmes of ESPN. “There is more work to be done and no set timeline.”
ESPN has recently reviewed Leonard’s 19-page contract with Aspiration and shared key sections with five player agents and an NBPA source familiar with endorsement deals. The general consensus was that the agreement was mostly standard.
The NBA has hired law firm Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz and attorney David Anders to take a look at the alleged $28 million no-show deal that was signed by Leonard with the now-bankrupt company.
Pablo Torre was the first one to bring up this scandal around Leonard, Steve Ballmer and his Clippers organization.
