The matchup is set. The Oklahoma City Thunder will play the Indiana Pacers in the 2025 NBA Finals. The championship series will start on Thursday, June 5.
The Thunder were crowned the Western Conference champions when they sandwich-swept the Minnesota Timberwolves in a Game 5 blowout win. They cruised through the West with a 12-4 record and mostly double-digit wins.

Meanwhile, the Pacers clinched the East with a 125-108 Game 6 win over the New York Knicks. Tyrese Haliburton finished with 21 points and 13 assists. Pascal Siakam had 31 points and five rebounds.
The Thunder enter the NBA Finals as the heavy favorite. That doesn’t mean the red-hot Pacers won’t throw their own punches, though. They’ve had the best offense and could catch fire from the outside.
