The Fever posted a message shortly after the Pacers won 125-108 in Saturday’s Game 6, winning the Eastern Conference Finals and moving on to face the Oklahoma City Thunder.
“the @Pacers are headed to the @NBA Finals!” the Fever shared in their message posted on X, adding an angry face and fire emoji.
The Fever’s picture showed the team’s WNBA stars alongside members of the Pacers, with Caitlin Clark’s image next to Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton.
Many of the Fever’s stars were on hand at Saturday’s game to watch the Pacers advance to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2000. The team shared a post showing Clark sitting next to Lexie Hull and Aliyah Boston courtside for the game.
Clark had some animated moments during the game, with the Fever sharing a video showing her excited reaction as the Pacers closed out the game to advance to the NBA Finals.
The Fever have a tall task ahead as they face the league-best Thunder in the NBA Finals, but could get a boost if they continue to invite Clark to sit courtside. With Saturday’s win over the Knicks, the Pacers advanced to 7-0 in playoff games that Clark attended this year.
