“My main goal is to stay in the NBA for sure,” Yabusele said per Bulls insider K.C. Johnson, making his intentions clear ahead of the upcoming free agency period.
With the Bulls’ season winding down, the French forward is preparing to enter the market for the second summer in a row, this time under slightly different circumstances.
Yabusele’s first NBA return came with the Philadelphia 76ers, where he posted impressive numbers: 11.0 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game, shooting 38% from three-point range after five years away from the league. That performance sparked talk of him as a comeback player.
However, following stints with the New York Knicks and the Bulls, questions about his role resurfaced. With the Knicks, Yabusele struggled for minutes, averaging just 2.7 points and 2.1 rebounds.
Since joining the Bulls, he has regained form, posting 10.6 points and 5.6 rebounds per game.
