Micah Potter’s shoes for Sunday’s contest against the Cleveland Cavaliers were extra special compared to his typical shoes.

The Indiana Pacers center used his game shoes to reveal the gender of the baby he’s expecting with his wife. Potter came out wearing a pair of blue Nikes, meaning he and his wife, Elle, will be having a boy in September.

Potter has a big offseason ahead as he prepares for his son’s arrival, but he’s also had a year to remember. Potter has put together a career season, averaging 9.0 points and 4.4 rebounds per game, both of which are career highs. He’s also appeared in a career-high 43 contests after going undrafted in 2021.
