The Oklahoma City Thunder will host the Utah Jazz on Sunday. This will be the fourth matchup of the season between the two squads. OKC has won the first three, with its latest victory on Jan. 7.
The Thunder (61-16) have won four in a row. They absolutely destroyed the Los Angeles Lakers in a 139-96 win on Thursday. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 28 points and seven assists in three quarters.
Meanwhile, the Jazz (21-57) have gone all out to tank. They’ve dropped eight in a row. They had a 140-106 loss to the Houston Rockets on Friday. Cody Williams had 27 points and 11 rebounds amid his best stretch of basketball.

This half went as expected. Gilgeous-Alexander, Holmgren and Williams have scored a combined 37 points. OKC is shooting 63% from the field. Meanwhile, not much to say about the Jazz. They just don’t have the talent to keep up. The Thunder should cruise the rest of the way to another win.

Williams with the slick pass to a cutting Holmgren, who posterizes Filipowski for the transition dunk. Jazz call a timeout. Second unit ballooning OKC’s lead to 20 points for the first time tonight.
So far, everything is going as expected. Gilgeous-Alexander has an easy 10 points and four assists. What a smart defensive play by Mitchell to end the frame. Just stonewalled Chandler as he was ready to go full court for one last look. He turned it over. Wallace hits the floater at the buzzer.
1Q, 6:24 left: Thunder 16, Jazz 10
Pretty good start for the Thunder. Offense has predictably been easy. Plenty of lob attempts to Hartenstein. The Jazz have shot the ball well so far, too. Plus, OKC has committed some lazy turnovers.
The Thunder will start Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Lu Dort, Jalen Williams, Chet Holmgren and Isaiah Hartenstein. The Jazz will start Ace Bailey, Brice Sensabaugh, Cody Williams, Oscar Tshiebwe and Kyle Filipowski.
