On Tuesday night, the Golden State Warriors will play the Sacramento Kings (at home).

In Curry’s return, they lost to the Houston Rockets by a score of 117-116 (on Sunday at home).

UPDATE: Will Richard has also been ruled out (h/t Underdog NBA).

For Tuesday’s game against the Kings, the Warriors have finalized their injury report.

Jimmy Butler, LJ Cryer, Al Horford, Moses Moody, Kristaps Porzingis, Quinten Post and Gui Santos have all been ruled out.

Curry has been upgraded to available.

ESPN’s Anthony Slater wrote: “Kristaps Porzingis is out tonight with knee soreness. Means there is likely only two more possible games that Porzingis and Steph Curry can get reps together prior to play-in game (assuming b2b rest).

They were on the floor for only 8 minutes on Sunday.”

Curry Still Among NBA’s Elite

Curry (who is 38) is still among the best guards in the entire NBA.

He finished his first game back with 29 points, two rebounds, four assists and one steal while shooting 11/21 from the field and 5/10 from three-point range in 26 minutes of playing time.

Despite the loss to Houston, Curry looking healthy makes the Warriors a dangerous team heading into the Play-in Tournament later this month.

Curry is in his 17th NBA season (all with Golden State).

He is currently averaging 27.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 46.9% from the field and 39.3% from three-point range in 40 games.

Jason Timpf of The Volume wrote on Sunday: “I don’t think there has ever been a more terrifying player to have a 5-10 point lead against with 5 minutes left than Steph Curry. His team is quite literally never dead until that buzzer sounds.”
