The Minnesota Timberwolves visit the Orlando Magic on Wednesday, and both Anthony Edwards and Jaden McDaniels are listed on the team’s injury report. Edwards has been ruled out while McDaniels was upgraded to questionable. Here’s everything we know about Anthony Edwards and Jaden McDaniels’ injury and playing status for the Timberwolves’ game against the Magic.

Anthony Edwards, Jaden McDaniels’ status vs. Magic

Anthony Edwards is ruled out and will miss his third consecutive game as he’s dealing with a knee injury. McDaniels on the other hand, was upgraded on the injury report to questionable. He’s been sidelined for the past six games also due to a knee injury.

While McDaniels’ status doesn’t meant that he will suit up against the Magic, it does indicate that his recovery is trending in the right direction. The injury initially occurred during the team’s game against the Houston Rockets back on March 25. McDaniels has been sidelined since then.

With the playoffs approaching, the Wolves already appear to have their playoff seed sealed. They are currently the No. 6 seed in the Western Conference standings, four games ahead of the No. 7 Phoenix Suns and three games behind both the Los Angeles Lakers and Houston Rockets. The name of the game for them is simply to get healthy for the postseason.
