The deadline to withdraw from the 2025 NBA draft has passed, and several players made the decision to go back to school. With those choices made, ESPN’s Jonathan Givony has released an updated Top 100 players available for the NBA draft, and there are some Kentucky Wildcats on the list.
It seems a sure thing that none of the Wildcats will be drafted in the first round, but there’s a chance that a couple could be drafted in round two. The most likely is Koby Brea, the sharpshooting guard who has been projected in most mock drafts to be picked late in round two.
In Givony’s updated rankings, Brea is still at the top of the list of Wildcats, and has now moved into the top 50. He’s the first of five Kentucky Wildcats to make the top 100. Here’s a look at where each of them ranked.
Koby Brea
Ranking: 48
Players who can shoot the ball as well as Brea does find homes in the NBA. His defense improved as the season wore on, and he has good size as well. His skillset are NBA ready, and he should be drafted.
Amari Williams
Ranking: 60
Williams is a fringe second rounder on most boards, as he is here. He has NBA size and strength, and he’s a terrific passer. However, his offensive game needs refinement, as he struggles with shooting, even around the basket.
Jaxson Robinson
Ranking: 72
An injury robbed Robinson of a chance to perform in the NCAA Tournament, but he showed off some impressive skills before that. He’s a good three-point shooter, but streaky at times. He’s also a terrific leader and teammate.
Lamont Butler
Ranking: 94
Butler was one of the toughest players in the country last season, playing through injuries several times. He’s a great defender and a good passer. He excels at getting into the lane, but his three-point shooting is hit-or-miss.
Andrew Carr
Ranking: 100
Carr is, in many ways, a prototype of what NBA teams look for in frontcourt players. He’s 6’11, but moves well and shoots it accurately from deep. However, his age works against him, and he tends to get pushed around inside.
