Golden State Warriors are strapping themselves for the upcoming play-in tournament as the 10th seed in the Western Conference.

Golden State Warriors / Schedule

Last night, Warriors lost away to the Sacramento Kings 124-118, whilst two of their backcourt players still made history.

Firstly, Brandin Podziemski set a new career high, scoring 30 points in a game for the first time in the NBA.

Along with Podziemski’s feat, Stephen Curry also wrote history last night.

Curry overtook Tim Duncan on the all-time scoring list and is now 22nd of all-time in the NBA, as he needed 4 points against the Kings to achieve so.

Even though his 13 points weren’t enough to dismantle the Kings, Warriors will still need Curry to try entering the playoffs with two away wins in the play-in tournament.
