The Philadelphia 76ers have plenty of options to choose from with the No. 3 pick in the 2025 NBA draft. The Sixers will have the opportunity to add one of the top talents in this draft or they can trade down and see if they can add more picks or even another proven player to help their title run.
With that No. 3 pick, the Sixers will certainly have a lot of good choices to look at. They can look at Rutgers star Ace Bailey or Baylor star VJ Edgecombe or Duke’s Kon Knueppel. The selection and choice will come down to what President of Basketball Operations Daryl Morey and the front office staff is looking for.

A mock draft performed by FOX has the Sixers selecting Rutgers star Ace Bailey:
Averaging 17.6 points per game along with 7.2 rebounds, Bailey is a high-ceiling player with the tools to excel both offensively and defensively. Playing with Harper at Rutgers was also great preparation for the NBA. Early in the season, they became the second freshman duo in 15 years to both score 35+ points in a game. The last freshman duo to do that was Malik Monk and De’Aaron Fox.
Bailey is going to be a very good player. He has a lot of good skills that will translate to the NBA right away, but he also brings a lot of question marks to the league. His shot selection is an issue, his playmaking is questionable, and his overall shot is a question mark in terms of percentages. It remains to be seen what the Sixers will do, but Philadelphia has a lot of options.
