Details of Tommy Lloyd’s revised UA contract

Guaranteed compensation:

2026-27: $7.19 million ($5 million base, $750,000 additional duties, $1.44 million Arizona Sports Enterprises)

2027-28: $7.22 million ($5 million base, $775,000 additional duties, $1.445 million Arizona Sports Enterprises)

2028-29: $7.5 million ($5.25 million base, $800,000 additional duties, $1.45 million Arizona Sports Enterprises)

2029-30: $7.78 million ($5.5 million base, $825,000 additional duties, $1.45 million Arizona Sports Enterprises)

2030-31: $7.81 million ($5.5 million base, $850,000 additional duties, $1.46 million Arizona Sports Enterprises)

NOTE: If Arizona wins the NCAA championship over the term of the contract, ASE compensation will be increased $500,000 for each remaining year.

3.0-3.29: $175,000

3.3-3.68: $225,000

3.69 or above: $250,000

NOTES: These bonuses ranged from $125,000 to $200,000 under Lloyd’s previous contract. In fall 2025, UA said team had 3.175 GPA.

Until March 31, 2027: $11 million ($12 million if Lloyd becomes head coach elsewhere in the Big 12)

April 1, 2027-March 31, 2028: $9 million ($10 million Big 12)

April 1, 2028-March 31, 2029: $6 million ($8 million Big 12)

April 1, 2029-March 31, 2020: $3 million ($5 million Big 12)

After April 1, 2030: No buyout

Assistant contracts

Lloyd can offer up to three assistant coaches and a special assistant three-year contracts that will guarantee their salaries them if Lloyd is fired during the length of their contracts.

Between April 1, 2027-March 31, 2028: $5 million

Between April 1, 2029-March 31, 2030: $2 million

After April 1, 2023: No buyout
